Carmela Bousada has died at the age of sixty-nine. Don’t recognize the name? She’s the woman who gave birth to twins — via in vitro fertilization — when she was sixty-seven years old. She told the doctor she was 55 years old so she could get the fertility treatments. That’s a serious case of baby ravies, folks.
She also wanted to snag a younger husband to help her raise the kids. We all know of men who love older women. Personally, I don’t know of many who are looking for a woman who is that, uh, mature, with baggage to boot. I’m not trying to funny here. I’m in my late 40’s, and too many of the young guys sniffing around me are looking for some older chick they can mooch off. The fact that I don’t have kids makes me a little more attractive to them. That’s more money and material goods for them that they don’t have to share.
Did she honestly think she was going to live long enough to see her kids to adulthood? Apparently so. Bousada’s mother lived to be over 100 years of age, so she thought she would make it that far. Uh, no. Now the kids will have to be raised by someone else, perhaps Bousada’s brother. But if mama was in her late 60’s, I wonder how old her brother is?
Completely bizarre!!!! Why would a woman want to have a child(ren) in her 60s, I.DON’T.KNOW. Now, she’s dead and someone else has to raise her brats. WHY LORD, WHY?!
